Frequently Asked Questions – IDC Nusa Lembongan

IDC Nusa Lembongan is a PADI Instructor Development Course in Bali. It trains Divemasters to become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors. The course includes classroom training, confined water teaching, and open water teaching. It prepares candidates for the PADI Instructor Examination (IE).

The IDC Nusa Lembongan runs for 15–16 days. It is followed by a 2-day PADI Instructor Examination. The program includes theory sessions, teaching practice, and ocean training.

To join the IDC Nusa Lembongan, you must be a PADI Divemaster or equivalent certification. You must have at least 60 logged dives to start the IDC. You must have 100 logged dives before the Instructor Examination. You must also hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification within 24 months and a medical clearance for diving within 12 months.
