What is the IDC Nusa Lembongan?

The IDC Nusa Lembongan is a structured PADI Instructor Development Course in Bali designed to prepare experienced divers for the PADI Instructor Examination. Over 15–16 days, you will develop the skills needed to teach scuba diving safely, confidently, and professionally. This is not theory-only training. You will teach, practice, and apply real instructional skills in classroom, confined water, and open water environments.

Become a Confident PADI Instructor

By the end of the IDC, you will be able to:

  • Teach PADI scuba diving courses worldwide
  • Deliver structured classroom presentations
  • Conduct confined and open water training dives
  • Manage real student scenarios safely
  • Understand PADI standards and procedures

    Teach life-saving CPR with correct sequencing and confidence.
  • First Aid (Secondary Care)
    Handle injuries and medical emergencies calmly and clearly.
  • AED Training
    Teach and use automated external defibrillators to international standards.

You will be qualified to teach emergency response skills as a PADI EFR Instructor.

After booking, you will receive PADI eLearning access to prepare at your own pace.

  • Instructor manual
  • Slates & cue cards
  • RDP tables & eRDPml
  • Dive computer & compass
  • Basic scuba equipment (rental available)

  • 100 logged dives minimum (by IE)
  • Medical clearance
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Dive certifications (OW → Divemaster)
  • Passport photos

At the end of your IDC Nusa Lembongan, you will attend a 2-day PADI Instructor Examination.

PADI examiners evaluate:

  • Written theory exam
  • Confined water teaching
  • Open water teaching scenarios

Assessment is based on global PADI standards

After You Become a PADI Instructor

You will be qualified to:

  • Teach globally as a PADI Instructor
  • Deliver entry-level to Divemaster training
  • Add specialty instructor ratings
  • Progress to advanced instructor levels
